Bluesky Healthcare has been providing Australians with Mobility Devices since 2001, last year we have been awarded the national distributorship for KYMCO Mobility Scooters. We were completely overwhelmed by the response of the Australian market to this new product that embodies Kymcos vision of a product with a high standard of quality and design yet reasonably priced and very affordable.

We are just about to receive our next shipment of Kymco "Goodies" so I thought it would be a good idea to give a little bit more information about the Kymco brand and the products available.

HISTORY
Founded in 1964, KYMCO originally started out as a manufacturer for Honda. With the technical expertise that came from Honda, Kymco quickly became one of Honda's high-quality overseas manufacturing facilities. Over the next two deceased, the business relationship grew steadily, and Hondo became a significant shareholder of Kymco.

In 1992, KYMCO began their branded product, while still beeing independently developed by Honda. After 28 years of close collaboration, Kymco started focusing on developing and marketing their brand globally.
To further diversify and establish its presence in the marketplace, the KYMCO Group has branched out into the medical device industry, offering electrically operated vehicles such as mobility scooters and power-wheelchairs under brand names other than KYMCO. KYMCO HealthCare is UK based and has become the market leader for mobility scooters in the UK under the KforU brand. Further, the KforU brand is now a strong presence in the European market. Similar to that KYMCO HealthCare USA, has been established to repeat the same success for the U.S. market with freshly designed products under the Stars N Stripes brand name.

WORLDWIDE
The Headquarter is located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Over the past 50 years, its corporate campus has expanded into an area covering more than 2 million square feet (188,300 square meters), encompassing office buildings as well as manufacturing, testing, research and development facilities.
The KYMCO Group is now comprised of manufacturing facilities and marketing/sales companies in 102 countries worldwide

I would like to shine the spotlight onto 3 products from the mobility Range. These seem to fill gaps in the current market and offer an affordable alternative to comparable scooter brands such as Heartway.

The Mini Comfort
A great scooter that is versatile thanks to its front and rear suspension, while maintaining portability through the easy pull apart function. A large seat and higher than normal backrest will support and provide comfort while the pull apart feature will allow you to take your scooter with you to outings.

The Maxer
A powerful machine powered by a 700W 4-pole motor and a 200Kg weight capacity, this scooter will get you where you want to go. Still true to form this scooter is about 10cm slimmer than most other gophers of its calibre allowing for easier access and manoeuvring of doorways and busy areas.
