Whilst the massive WA bushfire that has raged for five days has been contained but not controlled the clean-up works are just about to begin and we will only now find out the true scale of the devastation that these fires have brought to our fellow Western Australian. What we do know already is that 143 properties have been destroyed in the blaze including 128 houses.

I think it is hard to gasp what this actually means if you have never been affected by a bushfire. Not only do families have lost all their belongings, memories, but they have lost their homes, shelter and have been traumatized.
